Description

The Apple Macbook A1181 was one of the earliest Macbook laptops which were produced and widely available to consumers. It remains a capable machine which is useful for a range of simple computing tasks such as surfing the internet, internet banking, streaming Netflix or movies and checking emails. They are still smart looking today in their glossy white casings.

The lid features a magentic latch meaning no moving parts to wear out helping durability! The 13.3″ screen houses a built in webcam at the very top so you can video chat or use it for image capture. Internally it packs an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2 x cores allowing some multitasking capabilities. Graphics are provided by Intels GMA 950 offing basic functions and thus not suited to gaming. There is also a built in DVD drive on the side of the Macbook.

We can customise this Apple Macbook A1181 by installing either an 80GB hard disk drive or a much much faster 120GB SSD drive. We can also customise the lid by adding a white, blue, pink or purple decal of your choice.

It has also been upgraded to run MacOS El Capitan and this is the latest version it will run.
